Seychelles Sustainable Development Strategy

The Environment Management Plan of Seychelles (EMPS) 2000-2010 is a 10 year strategic action plan which outlines the Country’s programmes across 13 thematic areas.  The vision of the EMPS is to “serve as a flexible yet robust vehicle for continued improvement of proactive environmental management excellence and for Seychelles to be firmly established globally as a committed leader in sustainable development by the year 2010”.

The purpose of this website is primarily to act as a network, to disseminate information to all stakeholders with the aim of conserving and promoting the natural environment. It is through this devotion that the Seychelles national heritage will be preserved for the present and future generations.

It also serves the purpose of facilitating information dissemination of policies and update on programme development and implementation information about the thematic areas, new developments, projects, consultancies, reporitory for past data in the data centre and the ministry's team leaders contacts is also featured.
